We love our pets. They’re members of our family. So we give your animals the same care and attention we would devote to our own. And because we realize that humans need reassurance, too, Dr. McKeever makes a point of following up with his clients as necessary to assure their progress and fine-tune medications. We are committed to delivering the best possible care and services for animals with skin, ear or nail diseases.
There are many skin diseases that affect dogs and cats, including allergies, ear disease, nail disease, hormonal imbalances, bacterial, fungal and parasitic diseases. These diseases may present with similar clinical signs. As a dermatology specialty clinic, we are trained and equipped to detect these subtle differences in clinical signs so that we can pursue an effective diagnostic and treatment plan.
Our highly trained staff is experienced in performing various diagnostic procedures such as intradermal skin testing, taking skin biopsies, skin scrapings and impression smears as well as treatment procedures such as cleaning ears. In addition they are proficient at explaining various methods of administering medications to pets.
When you make an appointment at our clinic, please ask that pertinent records from your primary veterinarian along with previous blood work and diagnostics be forwarded to us two days prior to your appointment. It is a good idea to bring any bottles of shampoo, pills, and other medications that have been used to treat your pet’s skin disorder along when you have your appointment.

Medication Pick-Up
Medications may be picked up after 6 PM on weekdays or on Saturday and Sunday if they have been made by the McKeever Dermatology Staff on either Monday PM or Friday AM. When picking up after hours they must either be pre-paid with a credit card or paid for with a check.
